A directing workshop run and hosted by New Generation Theatrical’s Creative Director, Michael Knight. This workshop will focus on empowering aspiring directors to showcase what they see and hear in their heads while interpreting a piece, and how to collaborate and communicate with actors during the rehearsal process and give clear, concise notes in order to achieve maximum clarity, specificity, and pace in the physical delivery of a piece.

Please note this is not a “masterclass” or a class of any kind really. It’s a collaborative workshop with one director explaining and discussing his best practices in order to offer some tools that aspiring directors may find useful. This event is meant to be a place of discussion and creativity. Please come with any questions or musings you may have in your journey as a director.
