Everything in Hatchetfield seemed normal until people began singing… Then, they began dancing… And now, a musical pandemic is sweeping the entire city. It’s up to Paul (an average guy who doesn’t like musicals) and his friends to stop this musical apocalypse and fight for humanity’s future in this horror sci-fi comedy musical!

Third Place Productions is a college-student-run theatre company located in Central Florida. Here in the 1950’s, you’re invited to join a live taping of everyone’s favorite sitcom, My Dear Debbie, featuring that kooky housewife, Debbie! For tonight’s taping, you’ll observe that Debbie has once again pulled her best friend Bev into her mischievous hijinks involving an OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive purchase, and on her birthday no less! Can they pull one over on Debbie’s stern and incredibly grumpy husband Tommy as they all attend a fancy dinner? Debbie and company may have to find out the hard way that in this sitcom, not everything is black and white. 


So!


Be a part our live, interactive studio audience and take part in what some may call an “American institution” with special opportunities to answer questions, talk to the actors, and delve much deeper into the psychology of just what it means to have to be America’s perfect… obedient… housewife and mother.
